Drugs of Abuse Testing
East Side Clinical Laboratory offers qualitative screening of nine urine drugs of abuse and urine ethanol performed in-house using Roche Cobas Automated immunoassay. This method provides a more accurate assessment of the drugs and metabolites present in the urine sample when compare to point of care testing based on a color change. Validity testing methods are used to detect for substitution, adulteration and dilution.
Urine Drug Panels can be customized, as requested. Additional drugs that are not currently list can be added.

Average time from specimen collection to results reporting is 24 hours for negative results and 36-72 hours for results that needs additional or confirmatory testing
Drugs of abuse testing panels include 1-10 tests, panels are collected by random urine collected in a urine collection cup and panels are customizable.
