Bio:
Jodi Melo is the Laboratory Operations Manager at East Side Clinical Laboratory with more than 25 years of experience in the clinical laboratory. She graduated from the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth in 1998 with a Bachelor of Science in Medical Technology and immediately began her career with ESCL. She was a Chemistry technologist until 2012 when she took on the duties of the Chemistry supervisor for 13 years. In 2024, she began the role of Laboratory Operations Manager where her current duties include overseeing the state-of-the-art, quality operations in the laboratory’s testing departments, satellite labs, and ancillary services. She works to facilitate communication between all areas of the laboratory and serves as the Laboratory Director for East Side Clinical Lab in Connecticut. Jodi lives in Somerset Massachusetts with her family and enjoys bringing a smile to everyone’s face.
