Bio:
Judy Clancy is the Laboratory Operations Manager at East Side Clinical Laboratory with more than 30 years of experience in the clinical laboratory. Her current duties include overseeing the state-of-the-art, quality operations in the laboratory’s testing departments, satellite labs, and ancillary services. She works to facilitate communication between all areas of the laboratory. She currently serves as the Laboratory Director for East Side Clinical Lab in Connecticut. Judy graduated from Salve Regina University in Newport RI with a Bachelor of Science in Medical Technology and after graduation, she worked as Medical Technologist in the chemistry department of Roger Williams Hospital in Providence RI. She started working as an on-call technologist at East Side Clinical Lab in 1989 and then became the supervisor of the chemistry department in 1992. In 2002 she held a dual supervisor role working in both chemistry and hematology departments for several years and then moved into the role of Laboratory Operations Manager in 2012. Judy is a lifelong Rhode Island resident.
